Dina Dean launched her musical career in 1996 during the weekly Antifolk open mic at The Sidewalk Café in New York City. The show's host and Antifolk founder Lach was so taken with Dina's performance that he offered her a booking at the club while she was still on stage. Dina quickly established herself as an Antifolk staple, while broadening her reach at clubs and cafés throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. In 1998, Dina was honored with an opening slot during Michelle Shocked's weeklong performance stint at landmark club CBGBs after winning a songwriting contest sponsored by radio station WFUV. Dina is currently in the studio, having recently signed with New York City's Smith Street Records.

Dina Dean's website is currently under construction and will be launched to coincide with her album release. Please check back here soon for further details!
